A module at the heart of the RACER Evo wireless system.
The RACER-GoModF8 Evo is the modular UHF receiver that turns a RACER Evo speaker into a wireless sound system. Built with diversity reception for stable performance even in crowded RF environments, it slots directly into one of the speaker’s receiver bays (RACER80 Evo, RACER120 Evo or RACER250 Evo): simply slide it along the rails until it stops, then connect the RACER-GoAnt antenna supplied with the speaker. No additional cabling is required.
Compatible with the full GO microphone range.
The RACER-GoModF8 Evo works with the GO-Hand (handheld) and GO-Body (bodypack) transmitters, the latter accepting GO-Head (headset) and GO-Lava (lavalier) capsules, as well as headset microphones from the Air range. That covers a presenter, a host, a coach or a musician alike, simply by switching microphone or capsule as needed, with no need to change receiver.
F5, F6 or F8: how to choose your frequency band.
Each RACER-GoMod Evo module operates on a dedicated UHF band, with a choice between F5 (514.000-541.750 MHz), F6 (630.075-659.475 MHz) and F8 (823–832 / 863–865 MHz). All three bands comply with French standards. Since UHF frequency regulations vary by country, it’s advisable to check local authorizations before use abroad. F8 is authorized in most European countries but can be more congested; the F5 and F6 bands offer an alternative wherever local regulations allow them.
One slot or two: scalability built around the speaker.
The RACER80 Evo has a single receiver slot, while the RACER120 Evo and RACER250 Evo each offer two, letting you freely combine two RACER-GoMod Evo modules (same band or different bands) for simultaneous use of two wireless microphones. It’s also possible to use the same microphone with two receivers installed in two different speakers, for example when coupling several RACER120 Evo or RACER250 Evo units set to the same frequency.
