CARBON12A

A woofer and compression driver built for power.
The CARBON12A pairs a 12-inch woofer with a 1.35-inch compression driver, for a total amplification power of 1500W RMS (3000W peak), a maximum SPL of 130 dB, and a frequency response spanning 50 Hz to 20 kHz.

A compression driver built for clarity.
The horn, featuring an extended dispersion control zone, pairs with a polymer-diaphragm compression driver rather than a titanium one, for a cleaner, more transparent top end. Dispersion sits at 90° x 70° at 10 kHz, for even coverage across the listening area.

A nitrogen-injected composite cabinet, lighter and stronger.
The CARBON12A’s enclosure is nitrogen-assisted injection molded, a process that trims weight while boosting rigidity by 20% over standard plastic molding. The resulting composite behaves a bit like wood grain in use: its internal structure delivers real stiffness without adding mass, a plus for both cabinet strength and sound quality, with fewer parasitic resonances than standard injection-molded plastic.

Connectivity and setup.
Two Line/Mic inputs on COMBO XLR/Jack connectors, auto-switching to match whatever’s plugged in, plus the Bluetooth input. One XLR line output feeds the signal onward to another speaker, a mixing console, or an amplification system, also available as a Bluetooth TWS stream. Switching power supply, 220-240V AC 50Hz, with a 1.80m Seetronic power cord included.

A shape built with stage monitoring in mind too.
Its asymmetric shape, with angled cut sides, lets the CARBON12A double as a stage monitor (wedge), alongside standard pole-mounted use. Full-face metal grille, 3 handles (side, top, bottom), a 36mm pole socket, 3 M10 rigging inserts, and 8 rubber feet (4 on the bottom, 4 on the sides) for a stable footing on the ground or on its side.

A full DSP, controlled from the speaker or remotely.
Fanless Class D amplification (1000W RMS for lows, 500W RMS for highs) is controlled via a DSP accessible from the 2.4-inch color front display or the CARBONcontrol app (iOS and Android). Available settings include mode (Normal, Live, Club, Speech), position (pole, monitor, stand), delay up to 100 m, an adjustable high-pass filter from 20 to 150 Hz, and a ducking function with selectable source channel, threshold, attenuation, and release time. Per-channel EQ, treble, and bass, with Live, Vocal, or Custom presets.

Locking and usage tracking.
Independent 4-digit lock codes for the LCD screen and the app, handy for keeping settings from drifting mid-show. A usage-hour counter, viewable and resettable from the menu.

Firmware Information.

Firmware version 1.0.4 comes preinstalled on CARBON12A and CARBON15A units currently in stock. It cannot be installed on earlier versions.

However, differences in firmware between two speakers have no impact on TWS Bluetooth compatibility, app functionality, or audio settings.

New features in firmware version 1.0.4:

Bluetooth, and one app for the whole CARBON lineup.
Bluetooth connectivity (2402-2480 MHz band, +8 dBm / 6.31 mW) supports simple streaming or full app control. TWS pairs two CARBON12A units in stereo (one speaker set to link, the other to secondary), with one-tap left/right swap or mono switching. The CARBONcontrol app runs every model in the CARBON range from a single interface: each speaker or sub in your rig shows up individually, with remote access to its full set of DSP settings.
