A subwoofer built for professional gigs.
The CARBON18ASub rounds out the CARBON series on the low end, covering 30Hz to 110Hz with a max SPL of 135dB. An 18-inch woofer (4-inch voice coil, 95.6oz magnet) delivers punchy, precise low end, housed in a 15mm reinforced plywood cabinet finished with scratch-resistant textured polyurea, built to take the knocks of a working rig night after night.

Get the best out of your satellites.
The CARBON18ASub’s Thru HPF (high-pass filter) output sends the satellite speakers a signal already stripped of low frequencies, adjustable up to 100Hz. The satellites are then only asked to reproduce what they’re meant to, while the sub handles the entire low end: less strain on their drivers, more usable headroom, and a tighter, cleaner system overall through the mids and highs.

A DSP built for live setup.
The onboard amp module (1000W RMS, 2000W peak) runs a full DSP, controllable either from the front-panel LCD or the CARBONcontrol app. Delay adjustment (up to 340ms) to time-align the sub with the satellite speakers, plus a low-pass filter adjustable from 40 to 100Hz on the sub itself. Cardioid mode (front or rear), available when pairing two subs, cuts the low end sent toward the stage or the audience depending on placement, a genuine tool for shaping a room’s acoustics with nothing extra to carry.

One app, your whole CARBON fleet.
The CARBONcontrol app (iOS and Android) drives every speaker and sub in the CARBON series alike: CARBON12A, CARBON15A, CARBON15ASub and CARBON18ASub all connect to the same interface, no need to switch tools between models. And if you’re running several units, one app is all it takes to manage your entire fleet: each speaker and sub shows up individually, with remote access to every DSP setting, including ones the onboard LCD doesn’t expose.

Connections and power chaining.
Two mic/line inputs on COMBO jacks (XLR or 1/4″), two XLR outputs to feed additional speakers or a mixing console. The sub runs equally well on a mono or stereo signal, depending on the setup. Power chains through the unit: the mains input accepts up to 2000W and can pass through up to 1500W to a downstream system, cutting down on the number of outlets an install needs.

Lockout and usage tracking.
Independent lockout codes for the LCD screen and the app, keeping accidental changes off the table mid-show. An onboard usage-hour counter, resettable with a code from your dealer.
